What Is a Private Theatre?
A private theatre is a small cinema-style room that you book for your own group for a fixed slot. Nobody else is in the room: you choose what plays on the screen, decorate it for an occasion if you want, and celebrate in private.
How it differs from a cinema
In a regular cinema you buy seats for a fixed show and share the hall with strangers. In a private theatre you book the whole room, choose the start time, and play anything you like — a new release on your streaming account, a film on a pen drive, your wedding video or a live match.
How it differs from a home theatre
A home theatre is yours permanently; a private theatre is rented for a slot. You get a larger screen and a room designed for groups and celebrations, without buying equipment or hosting at home.
What is usually included
- The room for your group for the full slot
- A large screen with sound, ready for streaming or your own files
- Seating for up to 12 guests
- Optional décor, cakes and add-ons you choose while booking
Who books private theatres
Couples for dates, anniversaries and proposals; families for birthdays, baby showers and get-togethers; friends for movie marathons and match screenings; and teams for outings and small celebrations.
How booking works
- Choose a branch, date and slot online
- Add décor, a cake or extras if it is a celebration
- Pay to confirm — the total is shown before payment
- Arrive at your slot time; the room is ready
What it costs
Pricing is per booking rather than per ticket: a base price for the room and slot that covers a set number of guests, a small charge per extra guest, and optional décor and add-ons. At Party Theatre bookings start from ₹599 for 110 min.
